Captain Tom Seiling left his native Pennsylvania and headed for sunny Florida in the mid 80's. It didn't take long for him to decide the Islamorada/Marathon area was where he wanted to base his charter fishing business - He lives for those perfect casts too! He is a Duck Key resident who feels this is the best spot from which to access both excellent flats action and the smorgasbord of action offered by the Everglades National Park.

Tom's favorites are the classic sight fishing species (Bonefish, Permit, and Tarpon), but he loves to sight fish Redfish, Sharks, Barracuda too, if that is what you are after. Tom also likes to share the experience of a beautiful sunset over the water and oh yeah-a giant Tarpon caught on live bait during the height of our annual spring Tarpon migration! Evening Tarpon trips are a special and very popular experience in the Keys, so you might want to plan ahead.

Tom offers fly fishing or light tackle spin fishing on such top grade equipment as Loomis, Sage, Orvis, Billy Pate, and Shimano. He has some conventional tackle available for tarpon anglers who prefer that to spin tackle. Tom fishes from an 18 foot Hewes Redfisher best suited for one or two anglers but capable of taking a third if you prefer.

Whether you wish to stalk the wary Bonefish and Permit, slug it out with a big spring Tarpon, or target the wide variety of back country species, Captain Tom will be happy to share the unique world of the Florida Keys Flats and back country with you.
