ABOUT FISHING
GUIDE CAPT. JIM BENNETT Jim Bennett has
been fishing the Florida Keys since he was a youngster.
Originally from New Jersey, and a former golf
professional, he traded in his clubs for a bonefish skiff
and headed to the Keys to guide professionally. He
loves going to work everyday poling customers over the
crystal clear flats of the Florida Keys.
Member of the
Marathon Guides Association and guide staff with

Guard Certified, Fully Insured. Guide Captain Bennett
welcomes beginners and experienced anglers for an
exhilarating experience on the flats and backcountry of
the Florida Keys. If tournament fishing is your
specialty there are ample number of flats and backcountry
tournaments all year to pick and choose
from. Jim uses a 16'
Dolphin Superskiff powered by a 90 HP Yamaha motor.
He likes the Superskiff because it allows him to get up
real close to fish without the fish knowing it. The
Superskiff has a smooth, comfortable ride, plenty of
storage, and ample room for two anglers. He finds
that this shallow boat gets closer to tailing fish that
most other boats.
