There are four arched bridges on the island. These are unique to the community of Duck Key in the Florida Keys.	Location of Duck Key and the Duck Key Cottage     A Sportsmen's Paradise on Duck Key This cottage rental is within walking distance to the Duck Key Marina with boat rentals, repair facilities, gas pumps, and a bait and tackle shop. The map above shows the location of Duck Key in relation to other Kays. Long Key, Long Key State Park, and the City of Layton are to the north of Duck Key. To Duck Key's south are Grassy Key and the Islands of Marathon. This area is in the heart of the Florida Keys and a sportsmen's paradise.   Great Fishing and Diving within minutes of Duck Key  The fishing waters surrounding Long Key and Duck Key were favored by the members of the Long Key Fishing Club whose most noteable member was sportman and author Zane Grey. Try fishing for bonefish on the flats or tarpon or mangrove snappers in the Florida Bay. Many dive boat tours are available throughout the area. The Snorkel Center Dive boat operates out of Hawk's Cay and takes snorkelers to the Coffins Patch Reef. Dive and snorkel boat vendors in marathon visit Sombrero Light Reef.   Nearby Attractions Less than a two mile drive takes you to the Dolphin Research Center which was the home of Flipper. There you can a tour or sign up for a swim with the dolphins. On Pigeon Key you can learn about the Florida East Coast Railway. In Marathon visit Curry Hammock with its Children's Museum and nature walks, the historic Adderly House and the Bird Rescue Center.
