CALENDAR
For several years we posted a monthly calendar of events (see below) scheduled during the Snow Bird months, and Club Duck Key placed individual calendars in residents DKPOA tubes. With the advent of the Duck Key Property Owners' Association website (www.dkpoa.com) this website's monthly calendar is being limited to the Social Calendar of Club Duck Key. Information flyers on specific events will continue to be distributed by the various social groups and organizations in DKPOA mailbox tubes.

DKPOA - Duck Key Property Owners' Association members - Association Officers meet once a month, Annual Meeting December or January
CDK - Officers meet once a month, Annual Meeting December or January, Game Night - Mondays, Aquatic Exercise several times a week, Trim and Tone - Tuesdays, YOGA - Thursdays, Wednesdays Happy Hour, Friday Cookouts
BC - Duck Key Ladies' Book Club - monthly
LB - Duck Key Women's Lunch Bunch - weekly Thursday
TG - Duck Key Theater Group - monthly
F&F - Ladies' Friends and Food Group - monthly
There is a lot to do for the Duck Key resident who wants to pursue a social schedule.
Club Duck Key -
The athletic and social events of Club Duck Key are well known to members. Flyers are placed in Club members tubes in advance of each event. Once a month the Club has a Tiki Tuesday and a variety of social events are scheduled throughout the year with a variety of party themes - pig roasts, holidays, sports events, Thanksgiving, New Years, Member Appreciation,
Organized tennis is scheduled on most day. In past years there have been yoga and stretching exercise classes. Game night ( poker and dominos) is on Mondays, and cookout night occurs each Friday.
Women's Water exercise usually is scheduled twice weekly.
Theater Group -
The Theater Group has been in existence for many years on Duck Key and is coordinated by resident Sue Kulig. Participants by a block of tickets for the season and travel to the Coconut Grove Playhouse for performances. There are generally eight productions each season with attendance schedule for a Wednesday matinee October through May. Participants must commit and pay in June for the season which begins in the Fall. Contact Sue Kulig if you wish to participate and benefit from the group purchase. Dates, theater productions, and actors are posted well in advance
Book Clubs -
There are two women's book clubs on Duck Key which generally meet once a month. Some residents belong to both clubs. Books are selected by each group months in advance. Moderated discussions take place in members' homes with opportunity social interaction as well.
Lunch Bunch -
A group of women who meet on Thursdays for lunch and conversation at different restaurants in Marathon. Resident Mary Moccia sends e-mail reminders to participants as to date, time and place for Lunch Bunch gatherings.
