In a news article
entitled "Hawk's Cay project revisited" by Bruce
Lapaunte, the article states,
"
. . . the state Department of Community Affairs, which
had appealed the county's approval of more development
at the resort, last week stayed its appeal at the
request of the state Land and Water Adjudicatory
Commission. That commission, which is made up of the
governor and Cabinet, wants the county to resolve the
issue itself. "
.
. .
"The
Adjudicatory Commission has now asked the county and
DCA to file a joint motion with the state Division of
Administrative Hearings staying DCA's appeal. That
would allow the County Commission to revisit its
decision to OK the development."
