August 23 to Nov 30, 2010 - Second Annual Heroes Welcome Promotion.

Hawks Cay is saying "thank you for your service and sacrifice" to all the men and women (both past and present) of the military, fire and rescue, police, sworn officers and medical personnel by offering a very special discounted room rate starting at only $99 a night.


To anyone supporting the service heroes by making a donation of $1 or more to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation, Hawks Cay is extending a special $119 per night rate during the Heroes Welcome Program..



The Duck key Security District Advisory Minutes for April makes note that Hawks Cay Resort will be hosting a Conchtoberfest 2010 on September 17th, 18th, and 19th. The resort is expecting 2000 visitors per day, . Limited parking will be available for cars on resort grounds.

Event parking and shuttle pick-up will be located at Grassy Key Marina with signs on US-1 Overseas Highway highlighting parking locations.

Extra security is planned to keep visitors from going into the neighborhood of Duck Key. Duck Key residents are invited for free.

Event’s admission is $5.00/person and monies collected will be donated to the Marathon High School Culinary School. The event will not continue into the night.

Times advertized indicate music ending at 8 o'clock on Friday and Saturday. Sunday schedule indicates 5 pm.

July 2009 - In the summer of 2009, Travel + Leisure Magazine rated Hawk's Cay Resort the second top resort in the State of Florida.

July , 2009 (Duck Key) – Hawks Cay has been honored as one of the “2009 Top 50 Resorts in the US & Canada” by readers of Travel + Leisure in the magazine’s 14th annual readers’ survey. The private-island resort in the Florida Keys was named #32 of the top resorts in the US & Canada and second in the state of Florida.

The annual World’s Best Awards, whose 14th iteration appears in the August 2009 edition of Travel + Leisure, is held in high regard throughout the travel industry. Hotels are ranked based on ratings in the following categories: rooms, facilities, location, service, restaurants and value.
