Brat Camp
A Twenty-Twenty
Production for Channel 4 (United Kingdom)
Synopsis: The first of a
four-part series following six badly behaved British
teens sent to a tough American "Wilderness Camp."
Described by their parents as abusive, arrogant,
foul-mouthed and ill disciplined, the teens face the
challenge of a lifetime in the wilds of Utah as they
embark on weeks of supervised survival training designed
to reform wayward youngsters. Cut off from the outside
world, the kids face a tough no-nonsense regime where
they are expected to hike every day, set up their own
camp, cook for themselves and cope with sub-zero
temperatures. Drugs, alcohol and swearing are all banned.
The teens must ask permission for everything, even going
to the toilet, and have to 'earn' even the most basic
equipment such as cooking utensils.
