RATE OF GROWTH ORDINANCE CREDITS MAY GO TO RESORT

In separate Keynoter articles dated June 22, 2002, by reporters Scott Fusaro and Alyson Matley it was reported that

"Key West developer Pritam Singh's long battle to add units to Hawk's Cay Resort on Duck Key &endash; OK'd by the Monroe County Commission Wednesday &endash; now rests with the city of Marathon."

and

"Hawk's Cay gets the OK - Developer must find 46 ROGO units for added housing."

In order to build 28 market-rate units and 18 affordable-housing units on Duck Key, development rights from another site must be transferred. Singh hopes to transfer rights from the old, over-density Overseas Motel in Marathon.
